Bela, Ropar
techcadd Computer Education collaborates with Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College, commonly known as Bela College, in Ropar, Punjab, through technical workshops, guest lectures and student training sessions focused on emerging technologies.
The college’s Computer Science Department describes workshops, industrial visits, seminars and expert guest lectures as part of its approach to developing theoretical knowledge and practical skills — which makes technical engagement a natural fit for its students.
Why technical workshops matter
Workshops give students a structured way to move from theory toward application. Prepare questions, attempt the activity yourself rather than only observing, and repeat the steps afterwards to turn an introduction into continued learning.
Guest lectures and emerging technology awareness
A speaker can explain the problems a field addresses, the skills commonly needed and the habits that support professional growth. Separate broad trends from specific career requirements, and verify career, salary and hiring claims against credible information.
Making the most of campus–industry engagement
- Set a learning goal for each session.
- Ask about prerequisites, practical uses and common mistakes.
- Keep notes, exercises and project files where permitted.
- Practise independently and test your understanding.
- Ask a teacher or mentor to review your work.
Exploring emerging technologies responsibly
Begin with fundamentals, then move to guided practice. Consider privacy, security, responsible data use and the limits of automated tools — understanding risks is part of technical competence.
“Before, during and after a session: prepare, take notes, then recreate the example yourself.”
External technical engagement complements academic study by giving Bela College students additional perspectives and practical questions to explore.
